About Us

Elders Climate Action Massachusetts is a Chapter of the national ECA organization.  We are a group of committed activists determined to do everything we can to combat climate change. We reach out, teach and organize in our communities, advocate for key climate legislation, and build networks with other individuals and organizations that share our commitment.

ECA Mass helps concerned citizens to be effective climate change activists. We share skills, and expertise in ways that are open, collaborative and fact-based. We use our policy and advocacy skills to foment real change.

The climate movement is the collective of nongovernmental organizations engaged in activism related to the issues of climate change. It is a subset of the broader environmental movement, but some regard it as a new social movement itself given its scope, strength and activities. We view climate change advocacy in this light – fighting for climate sanity is the most essential social movement of our time.
